Font from a book

This font is found on the title page of the book "Eight Ghosts", and I'm wondering what the font is. I've tried the usual channels and can find similar looking fonts (Garamond Premr Pro SubHead and Archive Garamond Pro Regular), but it's the 'S' variant that is proving difficult. Also, the 'O' looks as though it has been turned sideways, which doesn't help. I can scan in a couple of other examples, if needed. Any ideas?
